Why is a customer key needed?

The Customer key is needed for the Customer based recommendations. It is the Voyado Elevate Customer key that identifies the individual that Email Recommendations will generate customer-based recommendations for.

What are excluded products?

Excluded products is a filter that can be generally applied to all markets or adjusted for specific markets to filter away product sets that you do not wish to show in Email Recommendations at all. Applying it once in the Configuration tab removes the need to apply the same filter to all individual email campaign configurations. The global product exclusion will override any campaign product inclusions.
