Billing and invoicing data

Billing and invoicing data reports help you retrieve accurate financial information for your retail media campaigns. These reports give you clear insight into campaign spend and planned budgets. You can use them to support invoicing, reconciliation, and forecasting. They are easy to export and allow you to choose the period, market, and CSV format. This ensures you always have access to the data you need.

Retail Media features are currently in closed beta. Contact Voyado if you want to take part in the program.

How it works

You can export two report types: Campaign spend and Booked budgets. Both reports collect data from your retail media activity during a selected period. After choosing your date range, market, and file format, you can download the CSV file directly from the Retail Media section.

Campaign spend

The Campaign spend report shows the actual costs incurred on campaigns during the selected period. All costs shown in this report are gross amounts, meaning the full amount that advertisers should pay. Voyado will invoice any platform fees or revenue shares based on the gross spend.

The report includes the following fields:

Name Description
ClientID A unique number for every client account in the system.
PO-Number  A purchase number.
Name  The name of the advertising campaign.
Type  The type of campaign and can be ‘Adform’, ‘Facebook’, ‘TikTok’ etc.
Budget The budget that was entered for the campaign.
Cost The effective cost of the campaign for the billed month.
Impressions The number of impressions (ad views) that were generated by the campaign.
Click The number of clicks that were generated by the campaign.

This report is primarily used as input for invoicing suppliers.

Booked budgets

The Booked budget report captures the planned budget allocation for campaigns. A campaign is included if any part of its start and end date occurs within the selected period. It includes the following fields:

Name Description
ClientID A unique number for every client account in the system.
Name The name of the advertising campaign.
Type The type of campaign and can be ‘Adform’, ‘Facebook’, ‘TikTok’ etc.
Budget The budget that was entered for the campaigns.
End Date The end date for the campaign meaning this is the data the campaign ends.
Start Date The start date for the campaign meaning this is the data the campaign starts.
Status The status of the campaign, and it can be ‘Active’, ‘Paused’, ‘Completed’, ‘Error‘.
Created by The person who created the campaign.
Created The date when the campaign was created.

This report is mainly used for forecasting. Remember that future dates cannot be set at this point.

How to export reports

  1. Go to Business in the navigation.
  2. Scroll down to Retail media.
  3. Open the kebab menu and select the report you want to download.
  4. Choose the time period, market, and CSV settings.
  5. Select Export to download your file.

How to use the CSV file format settings

When exporting a report, the default settings are just what you need, but can be adjusted to match the system where you will import or process the data. The following options are available:

  • Line Separator: Choose Windows or another operating system depending on where the file will be opened. Some systems expect Windows-style line breaks, while others require a different format.
  • Column Delimiter: Select the character that separates each column, such as a comma or semicolon. Choose the delimiter that your finance or reporting tools support.
  • Charset: Select the character encoding, such as UTF-8, to ensure special characters display correctly in your spreadsheet or accounting system.

The default CSV settings work in most cases and should be used unless you know your internal systems require something different.
