This article covers how to edit and delete a campaign, including the details you can update and the deletion process. It also explains how frequent edits can impact performance by resetting the campaign into the learning phase.
Edit campaigns
A campaign can be edited at any time by clicking the pencil icon on the right-hand side. However, each time the campaign is updated, it will return to the learning phase. Frequent edits can impact performance, as the campaign will need to gather at least 25 clicks to optimize and fine-tune the Cost Per Click (CPC) adjustments. During this phase, performance may fluctuate as the campaign adjusts to the optimal CPC. Constantly resetting the learning phase can prevent the campaign from stabilizing, ultimately affecting its efficiency and results.
When editing a campaign, you can update the following details:
- End date
- Target cost per click (CPC)
- Total budget
- PO number
Delete campaign
To delete a campaign, hover over the kebab menu on the right-hand side, or for previously active campaigns, click directly on the trashcan icon. Campaigns can only be deleted when paused, active campaigns can only be edited. After clicking the trashcan, you’ll be asked to confirm the deletion, as this action cannot be undone.
Campaign details
To access the campaign details, click the "i" icon on the right-hand side of the campaign overview table.
The campaign details pop-up displays key information such as the campaign name, IDs, creator, budget, bidding details, duration, and additional technical data.
