Why doesn't my search show content items as expected?
First, verify if the content items are included in the feed to Elevate. If not, then include them.
If they are already included, examine the title, description, and tags of the item in the CMS and what is sent to Elevate. Do any of those have the search phrase included? If not, change the description to include the search phrase you expect to give a hit for the content item.
Alternatively, you could add custom attribute as tags for the content item in the feed in order for the term to be searchable. Custom attribute values are searchable.
A quick solution would be to add a synonym for the content item's title, but this will only give hits in the search result page, not in the Autocomplete. A precondition to show content items in the Autocomplete is that the front-end renders the content hits given by Elevate. If it doesn't, talk to a front-end developer.
