Recommendations report

The Recommendations report shows how the product recommendations on your site perform, from how often shoppers see and click them to the revenue and profit they drive. You can review results in a summary dashboard or use the table view to break them down by market, algorithm, recommendation ID, or touchpoint. Use it to see which recommendations contribute most and to compare performance across different periods.

  1. In the Voyado Product Discovery application, go to Experience > Reports > Recommendations.
  2. Use the filters to choose the period, comparison period, markets, touchpoints, and algorithms you want to review.

The Recommendations report helps you understand how product recommendations perform across the selected scope. It shows recommendation sessions, product clicks, add-to-carts, purchases, conversion rates, and revenue metrics. You can review performance in an overview dashboard or use the table view to break results down by market, algorithm, recommendation ID, or touchpoint.

Access to reporting data older than 365 days requires an upgraded Product Discovery tier or package. If your account does not include extended historical data, you can only select reporting periods within the last 365 days.

Date picker

Use the date picker to choose the reporting period. The picker supports preset period types and custom ranges:

Period type Description

Yearly Select a year.
Rolling Select a rolling period, such as the last 7, 14, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days. Rolling periods exclude today.
Custom Select a custom date range.

The selected date range is shown at the bottom of the picker. Select Apply to update the report.

Table view

Use Tableview to analyze recommendation performance in more detail. You can group the table by:

Attribution

When a user purchases a product, the product discovery engine credits the recommendation that first led to a click on that product during the same session.

  • If the user clicks the same product in multiple recommendation lists, only the first list receives credit.
  • If the first click on a purchased product comes from a search result, no recommendation receives purchase credit.
